Directions to Camp Liahona
Camp Liahona - New York is located on scenic Whaley Lake in southeast Dutchess County, NY
near the town of Pawling. Easy access is available via I-84 (East-West)
or I-684, as well Rt. 55 from Poughkeepsie or Pawling.
- From the Taconic Parkway (10.9 miles)
- Exit the Taconic at Rt. 55 East toward Pawling. Proceed east on
Rt. 55 passing Rt. 82 (1.2 mi) and Beekman Road (5.7 mi) along the way.
After the large hill (watch for the Appalachian Trail sign),
turn right onto Rt. 292 (9.4 mi).
Proceed on Rt. 292 for 0.2 mi where it turns left and crosses
over the RR tracks.
Continue 1 mile and you will see the Camp Liahona sign on the left side of the road.
The entrance to Camp Liahona is 0.2 mi further on the left at the
blue house.
- From I-84
- Exit at the Ludingtonville Road Exit.
Go north on Ludingonville Road (CR-40)
and make a quick left onto Drew Road.
After 0.4 miles Drew Road becomes Jansen Road.
Continue for 0.6 miles and make a slight right onto Holmes Rd (CR-30).
Go 0.2 miles and make a left onto South Road.
Continue for 1.8 miles and make a slight left onto NY-292.
Travel north for 1.2 miles.
Entrance to Camp Liahona is on the right past the blue house.
- From Pawling and Rt 22
- Take RT-55 West ramp toward Poughkeepsie.
Bear left then stay straight to go onto RT-55.
Go West on RT-55 for 4.8 miles, then turn left onto NY-292/Old RT-55.
Proceed on Rt. 292 for 0.2 mi where it turns left and crosses
over the RR tracks.
Continue 1 mile and you will see the Camp Liahona sign on the left side of the road.
The entrance to Camp Liahona is 0.2 mi further on the left at the
blue house.
