Boy Scouting at Liahona

Scouting is a values-based program with its own code of conduct. The Scout Oath and Law help instill the values of good conduct, respect for others, and honesty. Scouts learn skills that will last a lifetime, including basic outdoor skills, first aid, citizenship skills, leadership skills, and how to get along with others. For almost a century, Scouting has instilled in young men the values and knowledge that they will need to become leaders in their communities and country.

To facilitate advancement of all Scouts we have organized programs to assist troops and individual scouts:

Trail to First Class - This is a program designed for first or second-year Scouts who are working on fundamental scouting skills including camping, cooking, first aid, map & compass, and knots.

Eagle Scout Projects at Camp Liahona

[Last updated:  June 2010]

For more information and approvals, please contact us at info@liahonany.org

Each Scout will be responsible to submit a formal plan to Camp Liahona as well as to his Scout District / Council. If you would like to select one of these projects or propose one of your own, please follow the following steps.

  • Reserve the project so that someone else doesn't take it. You can do this by sending an email with your request and full contact information, including ward and stake.
  • When ready, provide a copy of your proposal for approval. Please include any drawings and your work plan.
  • Email or call well in advance to make arrangements for the date that you would like to do the work.
Thank you! We greatly appreciate your interest and support for Camp Liahona.
